Congratulations!
Vision Quest is inviting the Evanston Bike Club for a free Virtual Indoor Ride with VQ Founder Robbie Ventura on Tuesday, April 2nd at 8:00am!
Our virtual classes are run on the Zoom platform. Here is what you need to do:
  • Click on the "Go to Live Stream" button below
  • Using a smartphone or tablet? The link will direct you to download the Zoom Cloud Meetings app.
  • No Zoom account? No problem. You don't need a Zoom account to view the live stream.
  • 5-10 minutes before class, click on the link below. You can "allow access to the webcam" and use your computer audio. Your audio will be muted and your video will be off at the start of the ride. You will have the option of turning your video on when the ride starts.
  • Have a "dumb" trainer? Robbie takes you through setting up your trainer here: Click here to watch
Want to do the workout in Zwift? Here's what you need to do
1. Download tomorrow's workout below
2. Drop workout into the folder: Documents/Zwift/Workouts/[Rider Number] (it's a specific 6 digit number within that workouts folder - only folder in there]. Make sure you have the zwift app download on computer to do this.

3. Open Zwift, log on, go to "Training" Workouts" and it should be on top. (See screenshot below)

Here's how the workout will look on your Zwift screen:

  • Pro-Tip: You might want to use an external speaker if you are viewing from a computer, tablet or smartphone. (Something other than a T.V.)
  • There is a chat feature in Zoom as well. You can join the chat by clicking the icon located at the bottom of your screen. A window will pop up for your chat.  You can leave it open and move the chat box to wherever you would like to have it on your screen.
A few additional hints for a great ride:
  • You can also adjust the view on your screen to split the screen allowing you to view the participants on the right side of the screen and the workout software on the left side.
    • There is a vertical margin adjustment that can be found to the right of the software window...If you toggle over it, you will see it and be able to make your software view larger or smaller.
    • Making it smaller will allow for more visibility of class participants to the right.
  • There is a slight delay in live-streaming so our responses will also be delayed.
  • Anything that is typed in the chat bar, is public information.
  • This ride is being recorded...
As always, if you have any feedback, we would love to hear from you.
