As described in my newsletter article, this is a scenic ride with varied trail surfaces. Most of it is paved, and the crushd limestone sections of the path are suitable for a road bike. Disappointingly, the bicycle entrance to Brookfield Zoo is closed due to Covid, so the Zoo is simply our turn around point. Although we will be riding at a Fast Plus pace on much of the ride, my computer bide speed fror the full route was under 15 mph. There are numerous segments that are not suitable for pushing the pace, some because they are so scenic and others because of the trail conditions.

Advance reservation only. Email ride leader for confirmation.
