I’m subbing for Connie this week and we will not do the 606 route. Instead we will do a Tour de Glen route shortened somewhat because of the expected warm temperatures.
This week's Thursday Casual Ride: Tour de Glen, crossing two Metra platforms on the way. Our destination will be the Corner Bakery in The Glen. We will take a route past Wagner Farms, around the Techny Basin trail, past The Kent Fuller Air Station Prairie Preserve (optional stop and prairie walk), and around Lake Glenview. After the food stop, we will return through the Village of Golf back to Chandler returning about 12:30 pm. Total distance approximately 23 mi.
