Tuesday Moderate Ride – August 9th – 9:00 AM – Panera
This week we’ll ride to Lambs Farm by way of Deerfield, utilizing some roads that the club only occasionally uses. We'll lunch in the popular restaurant at this famed institution for the developmentally disabled. Our total distance will be about 46 miles. I’ll ride at the moderate (13 – 15 mph) pace. With enough interest there will be a second group riding at a slightly faster pace led by Will.
The weather looks good for this week: Some clouds in the morning will give way to mainly sunny skies for the afternoon. The high temperature will be 74 degrees. The wind will be from the NNE at 5 to 10 mph. If the weather should be vastly different than predicted, making it necessary to cancel the ride, I will post an announcement to the listserv by 8:00 AM.
All riders should be vaccinated against COVID-19. Bring a mask; they may be necessary at the restaurant or rest stops.
