Toy Ride CANCELLED but breakfast is still on!
Author Last Post

The Amlings Toy Ride is cancelled due to the forecast for rain all day Friday. it looks to be a pretty miserable and un ridable day. However, the breakfast at Corcoran's is still on. If you have registered please bring your toy or toys to the breakfast at Corcoran's , 1615 N. Wells, Chicago, where the Marines will pick them up. Breakfast is on the house. You should get to Corcoran’s at 8:30 am. There will still be a raffle and I will be running it. We will not be meeting at Amlings and we will not be riding bikes. Toy Ride Updates!

Hi Folks,

Unfortunately, Mother Nature is not smiling on us from a weather perspective for Friday.

The current forecast is calling for 38 degrees and rain all day.  This makes riding conditions unsafe.  Hypothermia, slick roads, general icky conditions.

Because rider safety is our most important concern, we are cancelling the ride portion of the Toy Ride

Our contingency plan is for everyone to drive to Corcoran’s to meet the Marines. We will still have a great breakfast and a raffle and enjoy each other’s company. Santa and his elves will be available for photo’s. Plan to arrive at Corcoran's about 8:30.

Parking at Corcoran's is pretty tight. One suggestion is to use the Piper's Alley parking lot. 230 W. North Ave. Just west of Corcoran's.

Thanks for your support.
