I do believe the Park District is working fast on the project.  It will be great when done!

Bike only lanes are open from north end of trail to Montrose and they are in good shape. Just follow the ground markings. But don’t count on runners, walkers and tourists to respect the separation of bike and walking paths.

Yes, I got caught in that last week.  Note that you can get from Foster to Montrose easily via the street east of the soccer fields.

Hello All
I checked out the Lake Front trail yesterday and found the stretch from Foster to Fullerton to he wholly unsuitable as a direct and safe route. Reminds me of a mountain bike course complete with a single track .  Mostly loose gravel, deep sand areas, and mud. Not enjoyable and needed to clean my drive train upon getting home....
Overall not a relaxing recreational experience.
