Tuesday Moderate Ride – March 26^th – 9:00 AM – Panera

This week I am planning to ride to R & V Italian Market and Deli. We rode to this Deli, improbably located in an industrial park in west Lake Forest, for the first time last year. Shortly after this first visit, work began on the Bradley Road Bridge, rendering my loop route unworkable. Now the bridge is repaired and the restaurant is still there, so we will return this Tuesday. Here is a link to the route we will be using: https://ridewithgps.com/routes/27443284.

Our total distance will be around 44 miles. My pace will be a moderate 13 – 15 mph. With enough interest and a willing leader we will have a second group traveling at a slightly faster route.

The predicted weather is somewhat sensible for a ride – the temperature should be barely above freezing when we start, climbing to near 40 degrees about the time we finish. There is no chance of precipitation, and the wind will be a gentle 6 mph from the ENE. If the weather should take a turn for the worse making a ride inadvisable, I will post a cancelation notice to the listserv before 8 AM.
