The bike path that runs parallel to Hwy 41 from Lake Cook Road to IL-176 in Lake Bluff (the Bunny Trail) is undergoing some repair work. Most of it is between Lake Cook Rd. and Old Elm. Not sure how long before it is fixed. Keep this in mind for your rides in the near future.

I just finished a ride. I think most of it is probably south of Old Elm. There are probably five to seven spots several meters long the width of the trail where they have ripped up the asphalt. They are at intervals where it's disruptive enough, to my mind.
South end of Bunny Trail torn up pretty well.
