Aldermen Organize Bike Brigades to Protect Community from ICE
Bike brigades will patrol Albany Park all day Sunday to identify and respond to ICE raids
WHAT: Immigration raids in Chicago are reportedly set to start this Sunday. In response, 33rd Ward Alderwoman Rossana Rodriguez and 35th Ward Alderman Carlos Ramirez-Rosa will lead and organize bike brigades all day Sunday to identify and respond to any ICE raids occurring in Albany Park and surrounding neighborhoods. Community volunteers will learn how to identify and respond to an ICE raid before heading out in small groups to patrol the community on a bicycle or on foot.
