Tuesday Moderate Ride – August 20th – 9:00 AM – Panera
This is an open week on the Tuesday ride schedule. I’m going to go with an old standby – Greek Feast by way of Riverwoods. You can find the route at: https://ridewithgps.com/routes/20383985. Our total distance will be about 40 miles. I will ride at a moderate pace (13 to 15 mph). There will almost certainly be a second group riding at a slightly faster pace.
Tomorrow’s weather looks sort of good – partly cloudy with a high of 84 degrees and winds from the SE at 5 to 10 mph. There is a chance of afternoon showers or thunderstorms, but it looks like we’d have a reasonably good chance of finishing before the rain begins. If the weather should be significantly worse than predicted making it necessary to cancel the ride, I will post an announcement to the listserv before 8 AM.
