The Amlings Toy Ride is just two days away! On Friday morning, when it looks like it will be seasonably chilly rather than as frigid as today,, we will leave Amlings at 8140 N. Milwaukee in Niles at 7 am to ride into the city with loads of toys for the Marines Toys for Tots drive. We will be served breakfast by Joe's friend and long time Toy Ride supporter Eamonn Vaughn the owner of Corcorans and a handful of other delightful Irish restaurant/pubs in the area. The link for registration is below. You can still register. Paying to support the ride is voluntary. The only requirement is to bring at least one unwrapped toy.
Joe Reichart, long time EBC member and owner of Amlings, wants us to get to the shop by 630 am to check in and buy raffle tickets. I will have a sign up sheet. We will then embark on city streets to deliver the toys. Get to Amlings any way you want. and we will leave from there. Come join us in this holiday tradition.
