Come and support the anti-violence work of Biking Out Negativity. A celebration of Chicago’s youth and kick-off to summer. Bike ride from 4pm-5:30 then, post-ride celebration.
It would be very gratifying if some EBC members participated in this event as members of the Bike Safety Squad during the 6-7 mile neighborhood ride from 4-5:30. Please follow this link to volunteer Squad Volunteer Form. ( I would suggest you volunteer as a Sweep).
FYI there are numerous architectural gems along the route.
Our friends at Working Bikes https://workingbikes.org/about/ will be giving away a couple of hundred bikes in conjunction with the event.

Must be fully vaccinated, and bring a mask.
Assemble around 3:30 pm at St Agatha's Catholic Church, 3147 West Douglas Bvd. Free parking on Douglas Blvd and on Kedzie.
