Tuesday Moderate Ride - April 9th - 9:00 AM - Panera
This week my plan is to check-out the Heron Rookery along the North Branch Trail. Then we’ll proceed north to the Garden, cut over to the Skokie Valley Trail, and ride as far as Old Elm. We’ll wiggle waggle through two subdivisions and into downtown Lake Forest. Lunch will be at Einstein’s bagels and/or Caputo’s depending on the size of the group, the weather, and the whim of the ride leader.
My pace will be a moderate 13 - 15 mph. With enough interest and a willing leader, we’ll have a second group traveling at a slightly faster pace.
Tomorrow’s weather looks promising - sunny with a high of 59 degrees and the wind from the NW at 10 to 15 mph.
