Subject: May 24: Science of Bike Wheels and Wheelbuilding with Bill Mould

Dear friends,

Here at The Recyclery, we get a lot of requests for classes on wheels and wheelbuilding. On Friday May 24 we will be hosting a seminar and Q&A on the science of bike wheels and wheelbuilding with Bill Mould, expert wheelbuilder, Yale-trained scientist, author, and educator.

We hope you will join us for an evening of learning, discussion, and socializing with other members of the Chicago bike community. Reserve a ticket online using the promo code FRIENDS2019 to get a $10 discount! Please feel free to share this code widely amongst your own networks.

Bill Mould is an expert designer and builder of custom bicycle wheels. He has built over 5,000 wheels of every possible design, and he uses his knowledge of physics and engineering to publish articles and animated videos about bicycle wheels. As a Yale-trained scientist, Bill is a frequent and popular speaker at bicycle symposiums and conventions. He has a unique ability to explain complex scientific and engineering principles so that they can be understood at least at the conceptual level. He is also a member of the ASTM bicycle committee that combines the contributions of industry scientists and engineers to define internationally required safety standards. Bill’s passion is teaching how to build the perfect wheel.

We hope to see you there!
