Evanston Bike Club Next Meeting:
November 18 – Staying Fit During the Winter by Cross-Country Skiing Tim Weaver, VP of Northwest Nordic Ski Club (NNSC), and Scott Schaedel, Treasurer and Website manager, will discuss the basics and common myths about cross country skiing. A "count the EBC members in NNSC pho tos contest" will award a fabulous prize to those nearest to the correct number. An entertaining short video will cau tion would-be cross-country skiers to the dangers of be coming too involved in this sport. NNSC hosts various ac tivities throughout the year including snowshoeing, local hikes, trips, dinner meetings, kayaking, pickleball, and fun social activities in the north and northwest suburbs. The in-person meeting at the Robert Crown Center (1801 Main St, Evanston) will begin at 7:30 pm with club business followed by the program starting around 7:50 pm. Refreshments will be available starting at 7 pm.
December 16 – Annual Holiday Potluck The annual Holiday Potluck will be held on Tuesday, December 16 at 6:30 pm at Robert Crown Center. Details will be in the December newsletter.
