Evanston Bike Club Next Meeting :

August 26 – Gary Eckard – Outdoors Enthusiast. Ever think about taking a solo bike trip? How about 700 miles from Switzerland to the Netherlands along the Rhine River? That was one of the bike trips that our August speaker did last year. Gary Eckard is an outdoors enthusiast whose first love is backpacking, but due to aging now he takes solo bike trips throughout the world. Come hear him regale the bike club about his many bike trips. Maybe he’ll even talk about his upcoming bike trip along the Oregon coast. The in-person meeting at the Robert Crown Center (1801 Main St, Evanston) will begin at 7:30 pm with club business followed by the program. We’ll be upstairs in the Stein Room (Room D). Refreshments will be available starting at 7 pm.
