Having previewed the route today, I’ve decided on a few changes mostly because of construction and congestion. We’ll travel south on California (instead of Kedzie) and then east on Augusta to Damen south. I’m pleased to report that there is a small room sized museum about the history of County in the atrium area which is highly worthwhile viewing.
I was also pleasantly surprised that there is a small food court at the Hyatt Hotel (which now occupies the old hospital). Click on the picture link here for the menu. And there is cookie bakery as well. I’d like to consider early lunch at the food court instead of the local Breakfast House which had no AC when I stopped in today.
Given the warm weather for tomorrow please bring additional hydration.
