Working Bikes has agreed to help redistribute gently used biking kits to folks who can use them. This is an opportunity to take advantage of Spring cleaning/purging to declutter our closets and do an act of kindness for others at the same time.
Tom at Working Bikes suggests the following acceptable items
be gently used, clean, odor free:
Cycling jerseys, arm warmers, neck gaiters/buffs
Wind breakers or water repellent jackets and/or vests
Cycling shorts/ tights, knee and leg warmers
Drop off locations/dates:
Next EBC meeting on Tuesday March 17, April 21
715 Washington Street, Evanston (Joanne Davis’s house)
Collection box on porch from now until April 28
2500 Isabella Street, Evanston (Julie Ward’s house) at SW corner of Isabella
and McDaniel from now until April 28
Collection box near stairs or door on McDaniel.
Or if it is raining or snowing at time of drop off, the box
may be located inside the house so please ring her door bell.
