We will venture into Highwood for an early lunch this coming Monday, June 29, with a standard route north via Sheridan and St. Johns. Our intended route is included here: Buffo's / Highwood / Maria's

I pre-rode the route this morning, and became aware of construction in downtown Highwood.
We will ride at a moderate pace ( NOT high moderate ) and anticipate that we will take hydration breaks regularly; the early weather forecast calls for 83 degrees at departure time, with afternoon highs above 90.
Lunch is planned for Buffo's, but they will not be open until 11:00 a.m. Here is their current menu: MENU
| MENUPizza | Sandwiches | More of a Meal | Buffo's Junior | Salads and Soup | Starters | Just Desserts | Beverages OR... |

If turnout is large, we will split into two groups, with a faster ride leader than I taking the faster group. In this scenario, we may also choose a different dining spot.
Ron
P.S. For those wondering where the beer recommendation is, Broken Tee brewing does not open before 4 p.m. on any weekday, and is closed Mondays. The next Brewpub ride is this Friday, July 3, and will be to Steep Ravine.
