I've had bead separation from the sidewall with two Continental Gatorskin tires now - one right out of the factory and another after a year of use. Needless to say, I'm done with this brand and shopping for something reliable as well as light, fast and durable. A Competitive Cyclist "gearhead" recommended Vittoria. Thoughts? Foldable vs. wire bead?
