Tuesday Moderate Ride – April 2nd – 9:00 AM – Panera
The weather forecast for Tuesday is grim – a 90% chance of rain with the possibility of some snow, a high temperature of 43 degrees, and winds out of the north at 15 to 25 mph. I will not be leading a ride under those conditions, but since weather forecasts have been known to change, and this Tuesday is the official resumption of the Tuesday Moderate rides, I will wait until Tuesday morning to make a final decision about riding. I will try to post a go- or no-go announcement to the listserv by 7:30 AM, certainly no later than 8:00 AM.
In the unlikely event that we are able to ride my intention is to borrow a route that Will used a couple of Sundays back. Here is a link to the route: GreekFeast28 · Ride with GPS. It is described as a ride to Greek Feast, but because we will be starting at 9 AM, and it is a relatively short ride we will arrive before Greek Feast opens. We will instead lunch at the nearby Once Upon a Grill, also a favorite of many EBC riders.
I will be riding at a moderate (13 – 15 mph) pace. With enough interest, there will be a second slightly faster group led by Will.
