Yesterday I rode past the French Bakery in HP at 12:10 and again at 2:00. Both times the sidewalk tables were filled with diners. I am changing our start time from 10 am to 9:30 am to avoid lunchtime crowds. Let's gather at Panera Wilmette by 9:20 am and depart at 9:30 am sharp. We will need 90 minutes plus time at the Chicago Botanical Garden for our rest stop to reach the French Bakery by 11:10 am in time to beat the crowd. Weather for Saturday looks good.
