From the Glenview police blotter:
"A person, whose age and gender police did not identify, was riding a bicycle near E. Lake Avenue and Waukegan Road on Tuesday, Sept. 4. A couple in a silver SUV approached the bicyclist, and said they needed money to drive to Florida. They took the biker to several ATMs in Glenview, Des Plaines, and Park Ridge where the biker withdrew $1,700 and gave it to the couple. They dropped the victim off back in Glenview."
That's all I know of the story; I don't know if force was involved.
Don't help people go to Florida.
Florida is one of the least safe places to ride a bike:
