course we did and we were joined on the ride by Evelyn Struck. In 2007 Mandy was t boned by a school bus and knocked into a coma. Mandy ended up with a Glasgow
coma score of 3 which was the lowest possible. She would end up with a severe traumatic brain injury, Brain Stem Damage, right ear hearing loss, balance problems,
a speech disorder known as dysarthria, and reduced use of the right side of her body..but she did not give up! In fact, she thrived!
Mandy is an incredible rider and she even passed her Tandem Exam, riding on the back for the first time with ease. As we got to talking, we were all inspired hearing
in a lifetime. We were humbled by her incredible grace and courage. Bravo Mandy
Kloepfer!
Speaking of awesome...how about Hal Honeyman? A great American Hero in the flesh, Hal and his family run Project Mobility and provide bikes for wounded warriors
and physically challenged children and today he gave away at least 4 specially adapted bikes to kids in need of them. I support Project Mobility because of their
unending dedication to this great cause. They represent all that is good in the world and are to be sincerely commended. Bravo Project Mobility!
